Children should internalize learning processes through their senses. This is the core idea of Montessori. In the crèche, children play, experiment and discover new things together according to their individual stage of development. The Montessori materials allow the children to live out their desire for independence in an environment that supports their joy of discovery. Fixed rituals and consistent routines also give the children a sense of security and order.
