Use library

The office of the library administration is located on the first floor, right corridor, room 3. The reading area is also located on the first floor, in the former refectory.

To get to the library hall, take the right staircase. On the second floor, follow the corridor to the right. The entrance to the hall is at the very back, at the end of the corridor.

As far as the holdings are catalogued electronically, they can be searched via the online catalog. The media are subsequently made available by the library administration. It is possible to make copies and scans, but only if the condition of the books allows it. Photographing of the premises and collections is possible in principle, but only after consultation with the library administration. Photographs may not be taken in special exhibitions, as loans are often shown for which the owners have their own image rights.

For security reasons, before viewing and using the books, the bag must be left with the library administration. Valuables should be removed. Eating and drinking is not allowed in the use area or in the library hall. There is a checkroom outside the library hall, but no lockers.
