In keeping with the anniversary year, the Axensprung Theater, with the support of the Federal Archives, has staged the production "Freedom 1848! A European Dream" with the support of the Federal Archives. The city of Rastatt organized a visit to the play for secondary schools in Rastatt in order to bring the topic closer to the younger generation. Around 150 pupils had already watched the play on January 12.
The Federal Archives Memorial Center for the Freedom Movement in German History is offering two more performances of the play. On May 17 and 18 in the Reithalle Rastatt. Admission is free! However, registration is required by calling 030/18665-1133 or sending an e-mail: erinnerung@bundesarchiv.de.
