Mobile youth work: tours, open space and play bus

To strengthen young people's self-confidence and encourage them to take responsibility for themselves and others: That is the goal of the Mobile Youth Work of the city of Rastatt. The team of children and youth development is available to young people as a contact person in public places and offers games, fun, advice and support.

Offers

Outreach youth work

Employees of the city's youth development department regularly visit meeting places of young people in the city area as part of outreach youth work. In this way, the team wants to offer young people another uncomplicated opportunity for contact. The talks are voluntary and confidential.

Free space

Through various actions and events under the name "Freiraum", public space is made more attractive specifically for and with young people. The actions draw attention to the need of young people to use public spaces for their leisure time or to meet there. The employees of the Children and Youth Development Department are open to requests and suggestions.

Playbus

During the summer months, the play bus is used for mobile play activities at playgrounds in the city. Once a week, children up to 14 years of age can use the offers and play materials under the supervision of the staff and have fun together.

Murgchillout

The Murgchillout in the Murgpark next to the BadnerHalle has become a fixed program in the summer months. Artists from the region present handmade music in the evenings while enjoying cool drinks and snacks. The small open-air concerts are free of charge.
