Online expertise is the be-all and end-all in business today. This is especially true for local retailers and for small and medium-sized enterprises or start-ups. Because while online sales are steadily increasing, brick-and-mortar retail sales are declining. This doesn't have to be the case, says the city's economic development agency. The approximately two-hour consultation is free of charge for businesses. Since September 2021, the Economic Development Agency and other partners have been organizing a series of events as part of business breakfasts on the transformation process of the automotive industry in the region. ZIM Innovation Network "AMSM
The ZIM innovation network "Surface Processing for Additive Manufacturing", or AMSM for short (Additive Manufacturing Surface Manipulation), has been in existence since December 2020. The aim of the network is to form a strategic alliance between medium-sized technology providers and research institutions. The aim is to enable technology and product developments to open up new markets. To this end, expertise in industrial production with additive manufacturing processes, surface treatment using mechanical, chemical, thermal or physical processes and materials science will be pooled.
